About the position

Here, you will work with the management and development of one of Sweden's most important operational systems – a comprehensive and complex SCADA/EMS system used in the control room to manage and monitor the transmission grid. The system collects and analyzes data from the entire network for alarms, simulations, modeling, and to prevent outages.

You will use your specialist expertise where it truly makes a difference: in the operation and further development of advanced, security-classified IT systems that are crucial for Sweden's electricity supply.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues in a supportive team. Together, you will ensure that changes are implemented without affecting performance or functionality. You will work on identifying and managing vulnerabilities, leading incident and problem investigations, and contributing to building robust and sustainable long-term solutions. The work primarily takes place in a Linux environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant post-secondary education in IT, preferably with a degree, or equivalent experience
• At least three years of experience in operations and IT management within security-sensitive activities
• Good understanding of IT and information security gained through previous experiences
• Experience in case management and support in high-load environments
• Experience in Linux system administration
• Experience with IT monitoring platforms
• Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

It is advantageous if you have experience in:

• Electrical power and/or SCADA/EMS
• Operation of larger complex IT environments
• Lifecycle management
• Programming and/or scripting

Good to know

• The position is located in Sundbyberg.
• Travel may occur in rare cases.
